DANVILLE — Linda M. Kitchen, 59, of Bloom Road, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born June 15, 1954, in Danville, a daughter of Kathryn (Weaver) Speck, of Danville, and the late Paul Speck.
Linda was a member of the Danville High School Class of 1973.
She worked at the Sheraton in Danville for six years and later at TRW in Danville as a machine operator for more than 21 years.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Linda loved gardening and especially tending to her flowers. She enjoyed trying her luck at the casinos. Family was the most important thing to her, especially spending time with her granddaughter, Fawna Gilbert.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Chris Kitchen, of Danville; one daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Brian Smith, of Danville; one granddaughter, Fawna Gilbert; one sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Randall Seidel, of Washingtonville; as well as a niece and three nephews.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 727 Columbia Hill Road, Danville, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor David Hauck officiating.
Arrangements are by the Brady Funeral Home, Danville.
