— SUNBURY — William C. Hall, 73, a former resident of Sunbury, passed away Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, in the Susquehanna Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Columbia.

He was born in Valparaiso, Ind., on April 16, 1940, the son of the late Albert and Mabel (Donmoyer) Hall.

He was formerly employed by the Mountain View Manor, Coal Township, and the former Holiday Inn at Shamokin Dam. William was a member of the Church of Christ, Hummels Wharf.

He is survived by four sisters, Nita Einsig and her husband Robert, of Elysburg, Romayne Bartholomew, of Northumberland, Donna Jean Stuck, of Riverside, and Roberta “Becky” Strouse, of Mifflinburg.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Linda, and two brothers-in-law, Richard Stuck and John Strouse.

The funeral service will be private.

Arrangements are being handled by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
