SELINSGROVE — Paul R. Anderson, 58, of Salem Manor Court, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June27, 2013, surrounded by his family at home.
He was born on March 22, 1955, in Norristown, a son of the late Bruce and Mamie (Kryscher) Anderson. On May 11, 1974, he married Tina (Orris) Anderson who survives.
Paul was a 1973 graduate of Salisbury Christian School in North Carolina.
Mr. Anderson worked for 30 years at Frog Switch Manufacturing in Carlisle and at Wood-Mode Inc. in Kreamer until 2007.
Paul attended Beavertown God’s Missionary Church.
In his spare time he enjoyed deer hunting, playing online scrabble, playing games and spending time with his family and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Malinda Anderson and Darvin and April Anderson, all of Middleburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Gary Scutt, of McClure; three grandsons, two granddaughters and two step grandsons; two brothers, David Anderson, of Dillsburg and Daniel Anderson, of Mechanicsburg; and one sister, Naomi Evans, of Arizona.
Paul was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by one son, Paul Anderson Jr.
Friends and family will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Beavertown God’s Missionary Church where the funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. James Plank officiating assisted by Rev. Jeffrey Stratton and Rev. Matthew Maloyed.
Burial will follow in the Saville Cemetery.
