— SUNBURY — Stacey A. Snyder, 52, of Sunbury, passed away suddenly on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born June 5, in Sunbury, June 5, 1960, the daughter of the late Warren B. Jr. and Mable M. (Gross) Reed. She was married to Bud W. Snyder who survives.

Stacey was a 1978 graduate of Selinsgrove High School where she enjoyed track and field and field hockey. She earned her licensed practical nurse degree from Williamsport Area Community College.  

She worked in nursing at Divine Providence Hospital, the Selinsgrove Center, the Manor at Penn Village and the Golden Living Center/Mansion.

She was a member of Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church where she sang in the choir. She would work the blood drives for the Red Cross wherever and whenever called.

Stacey loved people and enjoyed motorcycle rides with her husband.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Natasha L. Snyder, of Sunbury; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jeffrey W. and Cheryl Reed, of Selinsgrove, Timothy S. and Barbara Reed, of Selinsgrove, and Michael K. Reed, of Southport, N.C.; one sister and brother-in-law, Susan L. and Michael Bolig, of Selinsgrove; nieces and nephews, Shannon Walter, Allison Reed, Jessica Reed, Sarah Reed, Laura Strawser, Anna Reed, Timothy Reed, Thomas Strawser, and Ryan Bolig; great-nieces, Natalie Laughman and Brooke Alvieri; stepdaughter, Robin L. Snyder, of Sunbury; and step-grandson, Dakota Snyder; brother-in-law and wife, Steve “Tex” and Mary Snyder, of Sunbury; nephews-in-law, Steve and Chris; grandniece-in-law, Wynter; and great-grand-nephew-in-law, Ezekiel.

She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Jody M. Snyder, and stepgrandson, Vincent Vasquez.

Stacey requested to be cremated. A visitation and memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Bible Fellowship church at a later date to be announced.
