WILLIAMSPORT — Wayne Kelly Kleckner, 59, of 79 Grimesville Road, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born May 6, 1953, in Danville, a son of Robert K. Kleckner and Alva Marie (Zellers) Kleckner.
Wayne required full time care and educated many caregivers to the realm of simple living. Over the years Wayne has participated in Hope Industries, Williamsport Hospital, various churches to name only a few, volunteering his energy and time which he so loved to do. As we all should love to do for others.
Wayne was a firm believer in our God and Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of New Covenant United Church of Christ, conducting himself and his business in a manner to be admired. He was a fine example to everyone and all who knew him.
He is survived by his cousins, Betty Ann Koepper, of Greenville, N.C., Dennis Sudano and wife, Ellen of Lincoln, Calif., and Vicky Thomason and husband, Tom, of Rochester, Minn.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Covenant United Church of Christ, 202 E. Third St., Williamsport with the Rev. Dr. Karin Stork-Whitson, officiating.
Interment will be in Lewisburg Cemetery.
