SUNBURY — Esther M. Minnier, 87, of Sunbury, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
She was born July 13, 1925, in Snyder County, a daughter of the late William and Helen Mangle. She was married to Earl C. Minnier who preceded her in death in 2004.
Esther was formerly employed by Nite Kraft, Sunbury.
She was a member of Stonington Babtist Church.
She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Norman and Kathy Minnier, of Northumberland, Earl and Susan Minnier and Barry and Susan Minnier, all ob Sunbury, and Rick Minnier, of Ohio; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Matthew and Deborah Minnier, Macy and Amy Minnier, Mindy and Justin DePinto, Jeffrey Minnier, Jennifer and Gordon Kopp, Ryan and Erin Minnier, Joshua Minnier, Richard Minnier and companion, Natasha Gray; 10 great-grandchildren, Rylly, Kolby, Nathan, Melanie, Allison, Micah, Morgan, Isabella, Tegan and Bryce; half sister, Ruth Clouse, of Indiana; and one sister-in-law, Viola Mangle, of Sunbury.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur, and one sister, Ethel Ross.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Stonington Baptist Church, 2113 Hosta Road, Paxinos, followed by the funeral at 11.
Interment will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
