WATSONTOWN — Harold G. Miller, 82, of Watsontown, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, in Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Augustaville, a son of the late Ralph and Grace (Haupt) Miller. He was married to the former Betty Jane Spatzer who preceded him in death on Aug. 5, 2004.
Harold was retired as the warden from the Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary.
He was a member of the Free & Accepted Masonic Lodge, San Francisco.
Harold was a fan of NASCAR and enjoyed hunting, woodworking, gardening and collecting antiques.
He is survived by two children and their spouses, Deborah and Gregory Conner, of Rohnert Park, Calif., and Harold and Peggy Miller, of Scot Run; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Arlene Young, of Harrisburg.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Russell.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Trevorton United Methodist Church, Trevorton.
Interment will take place at a later date in the Twin Hills Memorial Park, Montoursville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Harold’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury.
