MILLERSBURG — Miriam C. Gebhart, 94, a resident of the Schuylkill Center in Pottsville, formerly of Millersburg, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013.
She was born in Lower Mahanoy Township, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Carrie (Bordner) Martz.
She was a retired cook from the Lenkerville Elementary School cafeteria.
Miriam was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Millersburg, and a former member of Order of Eastern Star, Glen Chapter 425.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bill Deibler, of Hamburg; one granddaughter, Lisa Deibler, of Leesport; one grandson, Matt Deibler, of Wyomissing; and four grandcats and five great-grandcats.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harlan and Kenneth, and one sister, Helen Cook.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Millersburg, followed by the funeral at 11.
Entombment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum, Millersburg.
