— MILTON — Helen E. Holtzapple, 90, of Kramm’s Healthcare, formerly of Selinsgrove and Sunbury area, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013, in Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born June 26, 1922, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Andrew and Bessie Romig. On Sept. 8, 1945, she married Glenn W. Holtzapple who preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1980.

Helen attended Sunbury schools.

She had previously worked for Susquehanna University doing campus cleaning and was also a homemaker.

Helen attended Trinity Lutheran Church, Sunbury.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Glenn Holtzapple and wife, Mary, and Melissa Wigley and husband, Ron; four great-grandchildren, Tabatha Thomas, Derek Holtzapple and Georgejeanna Wigley, James McKinney; and two sisters-in-law, Wilma Herrold and Mary Holtzapple.

She was preceded in death by one son, George W. Holtzapple in 1977; one great-grandson, Brent Holtzapple; and two sisters, Dorothy (Romig) Weaver and Erma (Romig) Walters.

Friends and family will be received from 10 to 11a.m. Friday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove where the funeral will follow at 11 with the Rev. Constantine Havir officiating.

Burial will follow in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
