LEWISBURG — Madelyn L. Kemberling, 71, of Pine Ridge Road, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at her home.
She was born April 10, 1941, a daughter of the late Harry A. and Mary E. (Reichenbach) Kratzer. In June 1959, she married Ronald G. Kemberling, who survives.
Madelyn was a 1959 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
She was employed for many years by Wil-Hold, Sunbury, and retired in 1995 as a foreman.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Winfield.
Madelyn enjoyed spending time at the family camper in the Hidden Valley Campground and her trips to Florida. She also loved to do crafts, but her happiest times came from spending time with her grandson, Zach.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald G. Jr. and Kimberly A. Kemberling, of Sunbury, and Donald A. and Dana J. Kemberling, of Middleburg; four grandchildren, Zachary, Chandler, Kyle and Courtney; and four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Amy E. Stuck and Pauline E. Dwin, both of Shamokin Dam, Marjorie I. and David Brown, of Sunbury, and Nancy J. and Raymond Fox, of Hummels Wharf.
Friends and family may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Larry Siikanen officiating.
