NORTHUMBERLAND — John T. “Buddy” Palko II, 67, of Sixth Street, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at his home.
He was born Sept. 14, 1946, in Hazleton, a son of Irene Palko and the late John T. Palko I.
Buddy had many loves in his life — band, drum corps, sports, teaching, history, and the list goes on. One thing he loved the most was talking to people. There was no such thing as a quick trip to the store, unless Buddy stayed home.
Good luck on your march to Heaven. You will be truly missed by more people than you could possibly imagine.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are seven children who he loved dearly and cherished the most, Andy Palko, Alice Palko, John Palko III, Karen “Kippy” Palko, Patrick Seiberling, William Seiberling, and Troy Seiberling; as well as many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters.
A farewell party will begin at 3 p.m. today at his home at 477 Sixth St., Northumberland. A military salute will take place at 4 p.m.
Don’t be late dad!
Arrangements are being handled by the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King St., Northumberland.
