WILLIAMSPORT — Donald E. Schreck, 62, of Williamsport, passed away Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at home.
He was born May 25, 1951, in Lewisburg, a son of Frederick P. and Ruth I. (Miller) Schreck. Donald was the husband of the former Vivian L. Yordy, with whom he shared nine years of marriage.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed by the Army Guard for 26 years.
Donald was a member of the MT. Deliverance Worship Center.
He is survived, in addtion to his wife, Vivian by one daughter and son-in-law, Leslie J. and Tyler Thompson, of Muncy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Frederick P. and Franny Schreck, of Lewisburg, and Robert A. and Wanda Schreck, of Danville; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Margaret H. and Carl Varner, of New Columbia, Patricia A. and David Bingaman, of Mifflinburg, and Rebecca S. and Jame Starkloff, of Lithia Springs, Fla.
Donald’s Life Celebration service will begin with a visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd. “A Life Celebration Home” 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. followed by services at 6 p.m. with Pastor Carl E. Varner officiating.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
