MIDDLEBURG — Virginia R. Mull, 87, of Route 522, passed away early Saturday morning, Nov. 23, 2013, at her home.
She was born June 28, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of the late Francis and Theresa (Koscielski) Kendzierski. On Jan. 8, 1949, she married Stanley E. Mull, who preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 1994.
Virginia graduated from high school in Chicago.
She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Selinsgrove, where she faithfully attended the Adoration Chapel. She had served on the greeting card committee and earlier had sung in the church choir.
Her church was her life.
Virginia will be remembered for always having had a thirst for knowledge.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis A. and James Urban, of Disputanta, Va.; one son, Bruce D. Mull, of the Poconos; eight grandchildren, Kenneth and Andrew Urban, Jason, Daniel, Jonathan, Kimberly and Tyler Mull, and Krista Culp; one great-grandson, Tucker Culp; and one brother, Alfred Kendzierski, of Florida.
She was preceded in death by one son, David S. Mull on Aug. 6, 2002, and one sister, Loretta Carlton in 2013.
Friends and relatives will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the St. Pius X Catholic Church, 112 Fairview Drive, Selinsgrove, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 with Father Daniel Powell as celebrant.
Burial will be in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Selinsgrove.
Arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St. Middleburg.
