NORTHUMBERLAND — Donald M. Baumgartner, 74, of Northumberland, passed away on Sunday, March, 24, 2013, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
He was born April 7, 1938, a son of the late Merritt and Florence (Adams) Baumgartner. He was married to the former Doris Albright who survives.
Donald was a veteran of the Marine Corps.
He was formerly employed as a painter with various construction projects in the area.
He was a member of God’s Missionary Church, Sunbury.
Donald enjoyed coin shooting and had collected, bought and sold coins. He also enjoyed spending quality time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Donna Baumgartner, of Harrisburg, and Melissa Stuck, of Northumberland; and four grandchildren, Troy Trick, Megan Baumgartner, Ashley Wolf, and Jacob Stuck.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Diane.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 309 Water St., Northumberland, followed by the funeral at 7.
