MILTON — William B. Orner, 76, of Milton, formerly of Allenwood, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at Kramm Health and Rehabilitation, Milton.
He was born Nov. 28, 1937, in Milton, a son of the late William E. and Grace K. (Cooper) Orner.
William was a 1956 graduate of Williamsport High School. He served in the Army, the Air Force and then the Air Force Reserves.
He worked for Chef Boy-Ar-Dee in the engineering department for 40 years and retired in 2000.
He attended White Deer Baptist Church, Allenwood.
William enjoyed Corvette cars, racing, fishing, boating, motorcycles and going to Canada when he was younger.
He is survived by one daughter, Carol Glover, and two grandchildren, Kimberly and Jasmine Glover, all of Montoursville; one sister and brother-in-law, Doris M. and Victor H. Adams, of New Columbia; and three nephews.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Cooper.
All services will be held privately at the convenience to the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in William’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 71 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Arrangements are being handled by the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton.
