NEW BLOOMFIELD — Anna V. Smith, 87, a resident of The Manor at Perry Village, New Bloomfield, formerly of Liverpool, entered into rest on Monday morning, July 22, 2013, at the Harrisburg Hospital.
Anna was born April 22, 1926, in Liverpool, a daughter of the late Ramsey P. and Ida (Glace) Williamson. She was married to Charles Newton “Bud” Smith who preceded her on March 11, 1981.
She kept a tidy home and worked as a domestic for several families.
Anna enjoyed reading the Bible, and doing word searches.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Joyce and Harold Fogleman, of Liverpool, Charles K. and Amelia Smith, of Harrisburg, and Bradley S. and Rose Smith, of Port Trevorton; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Smith, of Millerstown; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Anna was preceded by one son, Allen E. Smith; three brothers and three sisters.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor Kevin Brown officiating.
Burial will be made in Liverpool Union Cemetery.
