SELINSGROVE — Mildred Fink, 81, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at her home.
Mildred was born March 17, 1932, in Philadelphia, the youngest child of Adolph and Florence Fink.
As a young lady, Mildred enjoyed academics and attended school until the age of 16. After leaving school, she was employed in a Philadelphia restaurant as a kitchen helper, as well as in a variety of other jobs.
Mildred moved to Selinsgrove in 1958. She was an outgoing person with a great sense of humor and a heart-warming laugh. She loved to talk and could always be counted on to say exactly what she was thinking. She had a flair for fashion and enjoyed wearing jewelry and hats.
Mildred will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her many friends.
She was preceded by her parents and three siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Chapel of Faith, Hope and Love in Selinsgrove with Pastor George Spencer officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Philadelphia, at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
