WATSONTOWN — Bruce A. Miller, 95, of 27 Milheim Rd., passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014, at Watsontown Health and Rehab.
He was born Dec. 23, 1918, in Fairfield Twp. a son of Harry and Enzie (Flick) Miller.
Bruce retired from Montour Auto Service and had also worked part time for Rovendale Supply in Watsontown.
He was a member of the East District Mennonite Church and was a World War II veteran serving in the Army.
In his later years Bruce enjoyed gardening, mowing grass, cutting patches for quilts, separating newspapers for a local thrift shop, and attending his grandsons ballgames.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years the former E. Lenore Kline; his children, Kenneth Stoudt, of Eden, Vermont, Lu Ann Stoudt, of Lewisburg, Kerry Stoudt, of Liberty, Kevin (Susette) Stoudt, of Harrisburg, Arnie (Marcy) Miller, of Watsontown; eight grandchildren; and twelve great -grandchildren.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents; his first wife the former Delores Joan Sites; seven siblings; and one great- grandson, Warren Bailey IV.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the East District Mennonite Church, 71 East District Rd., Watsontown, with Pastor Sam Corderman and Pastor John Weaver officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church.
