WATSONTOWN — Michael S. Pokorny, 63, of Main Street, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014.
He was born March 12, 1950, in Uniontown, a son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Kish) Pokorny.
Michael went to high school in Masontown and was a graduate of Penn State, earning a bachelor’s degree in criminal science.
He was employed as a counselor at White Deer Run in Allenwood and at Green Ridge Counseling in Williamsport.
Michael enjoyed muscle cars and loved to cruise in his 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. He enjoyed watching movies and sports on television and fish for muskies. Michael was a great dad and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jacquelyn and Nicholas Gehret, of Camp Hill; one son, Zachary Pokorny, of Watsontown; one brother, Gary Pokorny, of Uniontown; one granddaughter, Sophia Marie Gehret, of Camp Hill; and his companion, Lisa Ruch, of Milton.
