SUNBURY — Anna Ruth Kuttruff, 95, of Sunbury, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
She was born Oct. 12, 1918, in Sunbury, the daughter of the late Arthur R. and Martha (Schoch) Malick. Anna was a 1936 graduate of Sunbury High School and a 1940 graduate of Bucknell University with a bachelor of arts degree in education.
She taught in Sunbury and Northumberland schools until 1951.
Anna was a lifetime member of First Presbyterian Church, Sunbury, where she served as a deacon. She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, the Sunbury Eastern Star and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
A visitation will be held from 9 to 9:50 a.m. Saturday in First Presbyterian Church, Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 10 with the Rev. James T. Taylor, SUN Home Hospice chaplain, officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Orchard Hills Cemetery mausoleum.
