WATSONTOWN — Mildred M. Earnest, 88, of Watsontown, passed away Thursday at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.
She was born in Lewisburg on April 7, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Meckley) Keiser. She was preceded in death by her husband, D. Harold Earnest in 2006.
She was formerly employed by the Philco Ford and Zenith Cos., Watsontown, and last by Bro-Dart Co., Williamsport.
Mildred attended the Delaware Wesleyan Church, Watsontown.
She enjoyed doing word puzzles, reading, traveling, and watching wrestling on television. She also enjoyed the time she spent with family and friends.
Surviving are one daughter Linda Reynolds, of Watsontown; one son Edwin Page Jr., of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Crystle Scholl, Debra Wagner, John Page, James Page Jr., Brenda Cotton, Peggy Page and Harry Lee Page; five great-grandchildren, Cyrus Turner, Chasity Wagner, Bobbi Jo Wagner, Trever Page and Tenton Page; two brothers, Joseph Keiser, of Middletown and George Keiser, of Milton; one daughter Doris Ray, of North Carolina; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, James; two brothers, John and Charles; and one sister, Betty Baker.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 309 Water St., Northumberland.
