Colleen J. Jones, 81, Milton

— MILTON — Colleen J. (Harman) Jones, 81, of Milton joined her husband and embraced the loving arms of her savior at her home on Thursday, June 20, 2013.  

Colleen was born on May 18, 1932, in Williamsport, to the late Ruby Clark and Kenneth Harman Sr.  

She was a 1954 graduate of Williamsport High School and attended the Williamsport Hospital School of Nursing.

Colleen was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church of Milton and in earlier years was very active in mission trips, children’s activities and the blood mobile. She was a retiree of Chef Boy-ar-Dee with more than 30 years of service. As well, she was a beloved mother and grandmother and spent many happy times taking care of her family, attending her grandchildren’s functions and vacation trips with the same. She made the best raisin filled cookies, peanut butter eggs and strawberry jelly for her family as well.

Colleen is survived by three sons, Richard Jones III, of Selinsgrove, Ronald Jones, of New Jersey, Michael and his wife Sue Jones, of Watsontown; one daughter, Pamela Jones, of Milton; six grandchildren, Nicole Reichert, Patrick and Ryan Jones, Devin Jones, Lauren and Anthony Jones; two great-grandchildren, Rena and Vincent Reichert; one brother, Kenneth Harman Jr., of State College; one sister, Sally Hallick, of North Carolina; and several step-sisters and brothers.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Jones Jr.; her parents, and one granddaughter, Erin.

In respect of her wishes, there will be no viewing, but friends and family will be received at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. at the Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Road in Milton for a celebration of Colleen’s life.
