Brian P. Boyle, 31, Beaver Springs

— BEAVER SPRINGS — Brian P. Boyle, 31, of Snyder Avenue, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after he was taken after being stricken at his home.

He was born March 13, 1982, in State College, a son of Carl E. Boyle, of Willow Street and LuAnn M. (Wheaton) Weaver, of Winfield. On Jan. 1, 2003, he married the former Lisa Marie Garman who survives.

Brian was a 2000 graduate of Midd-West High School.

He was very proud of his employment as a conductor with Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Brian enjoyed racing at Beaver Springs Dragway, going boating with his friend Sam Ficarra, as well as camping with his family. He loved his cars and motorcycles and will be remembered for his awesome brownies which he enjoyed with ice cream, but the light of his life were his sons.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by his two sons, Mason Conner Boyle, 2 years and 11 months, and Wyatt James Boyle, 14 months, at home; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Timothy A. and Kimberly Boyle, of Beaver Falls, and Sean M. and Thamaira Boyle, of Kreamer; one sister, Celina M. Batdorf, of Winfield; stepbrothers and sisters, Laura Brooks and husband, Shylar, of Kingsville, Texas, Joseph Krouse and wife, Meghan, of Philadelphia, David Krouse and wife, Gina, of Lancaster, Catherine Krouse, of Lewiston, Maine, and Carissa Bowersox and husband, Shane, of Liverpool; grandparents, Alberta Boyle, of Sunbury, and Lou Alice Wheaton, of Beavertown; stepfather, David Weaver, of Winfield; stepmother, Eileen M. Boyle, of Willow Street; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul R. and Susan K. Garman, of Middleburg; sisters-in-law, Sue E. Walters and significant other, Michael Wright, of Selinsgrove, and Paula Snook and husband, Jerry, of McClure; grandmother-in-law, Charleen Shemory and husband, Robert, of Lewisburg; seven nephews and six nieces.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Wheaton in 2012.

Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Beavertown God’s Missionary Church, Covered Bridge and Creek Road, Beavertown, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by the funeral at 10 with the Rev. Dwight B. Rine officiating.

Burial will follow in Beavertown God’s Missionary Church Cemetery.

A fund has been established for the benefit of Brian’s sons, Mason and Wyatt Boyle, payable to Lisa Boyle, in care of Swineford National Bank, 19680 Route 522, Beaver Springs, PA 17812.

Arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
