LEWISBURG — Angelina Polo DiPilato, 87, of Monroe Street, passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at her home.
Born Dec. 5, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Grace (Iffaldano) Polo. She was married for 25 years to Michele DiPilato, who survives.
Angelina enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family.
She is survived by one nephew, Michael DiPilato, of Wilton, Conn.; one niece and nephew, Maria and Mark Pluchino, of Horseheads, N.Y.; grandnieces and nephews, Lauren Schmidt, of Tanzania, Carolyn Enow-Pluchino, of Kenya, and Victoria and Michael DiPilato, of Wilton, Conn.; and great-grandnieces and nephews, Baraka Anthony Schmidt, Jasiri Harrison Schmidt and Amora Marie.
Angelina was preceded in death by two brothers, Dominick Polo and Peter Robert Polo, and one sister, Elizabeth Ann (Polo) DiPilato.
Services will be private at Angelina’s request.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Milton.
Arrangements are under the care of the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
