LEWISBURG — Gregory B. “Greg” Moroz, 64, of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Dec. 28, 1948, in Fort Bragg, N.C., a son of the late Raymond Gregory and Virginia Blanche (Harris) Moroz. He was married to Sandra L. Florent, who survives.
Greg served in the Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He retired from the Department of Homeland Security as a system programmer.
Greg was a lifetime member of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
His hobbies included golf, fishing and socializing with his fellow aphasia-suffering friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Kristina Moroz, of Frederick, Md.; one brother, Albin L. Moroz, of Frederick, Md.; two stepdaughters, Joy Schomig, of Arnold, Md., and Audrey Griffith, of Watsontown; and six stepgrandchildren, Corwyn Fairman, Connor Morrison, Colin Griffith, Laura Schomig, Jason Schomig and Cody Griffith.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 19, in the Lee Funeral Home, 6633 Old Alexander Ferry Road, Clinton, Md., with Lee Gilcrest officiating.
Burial will be in Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, Md.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Greg’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
