SUNBURY — Richard W. “Tiny” Kline Jr., 61, of 1020 Spruce St., passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was in ill health for the past three years.
Born Aug. 12, 1952, in Goshen, N.Y., he was a son of Richard W. Sr. and Elaine (Kramer) Kline. On June 22, 1974, in Harmony, N.J., he married the former Alice M. Hoff, who survives.
Tiny was a resident of Sunbury since 1986 and previously resided in Belvedere, N.J., for 12 years.
He worked in the maintenance department at Coles Hardware, Sunbury.
He enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and spending time with his grandchildren.
Tiny was a 1971 graduate of Belvedere High School and a 1988 graduate of Bible Truth Institute, Sunbury, and was a member of Oaklyn Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters and one son-in-law, Michelle Huerta, of Montandon, and Holly and Matthew Behler, of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Victoria and Rudy; two brothers, Pastor Kevin Kline, of Paxinos, and Brian Kline, of Clearfield; two sisters, Linda Rittenhouse and Diane Szlasa, both of Clearfield; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Tunas, in infancy.
A viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Oaklyn Baptist Church, Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 2 p.m. with Pastor Roy Clippinger and Pastor Kevin Kline officiating.
Burial will be in Pomfret Manor Cemetery. ‘
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be given to Oaklyn Baptist Church.
Arrangements are by the Olley-Gotlob Funeral Home, 539 Race St., Sunbury.
