SELINSGROVE — Lydia “Rosella” Spinosa, 97, of the Emeritus at Grayson View, entered into rest on Friday evening, May 9, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Rosella was born Aug. 8, 1916, in Akron, Ohio, a daughter of the late George O. and Mary Ethel (Bowden) Neff. She was married to John E. Spinosa, who preceded her on Jan. 1, 1997.
Rosella received her education in State College, Richfield, and McAlisterville schools.
She was employed as a nanny, dental assistant and coupon teller and clerk for First National City Bank in New York.
She was a former member of the United Methodist Church in Richfield. Rosella was a member of the Susquehanna University Women’s Club, the Selinsgrove Senior Center and local arts and crafts clubs.
Rosella enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and reading.
She is survived by two sisters, Annabelle Adee, of Port Trevorton, and Jane Grimes, of Harrisburg; one brother, James Neff, of Selinsgrove; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Friends and family are invited to the visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 9366 Route 35, Mount Pleasant Mills, followed by the funeral at 10 with her nephew, Pastor William Wisor, officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Freeburg.
