ROCKLEDGE — Daniel Joseph Cook, infant son of Daniel P. and Theresa (Lenahan) Cook, of Rockledge, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at the Nemours A.I. Dupont Children’s Hospital, Wilmington, Del.
Daniel was born in Pottsville.
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Minersville.
In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by two sisters, Alyssa and Anna; his paternal grandfather, Daniel E. Cook, of Snydertown; his maternal grandmother, Carol Ann Lenahan, of Whitehaven; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Kathleen Cook, and his maternal grandfather, Joseph P. Lenahan II.
Relatives and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 538 Sunbury St., Minersville, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Saturday with the Rev. Adam Sedar as celebrant.
Internment will be in St. Vincent’s No. 2 Cemetery, Minersville.
The family would prefer remembrances in the form of contributions in memory of Daniel to the St. Michael the Archangel Church Memorial Fund or to the Nemours Foundation. Contributions will be accepted by the funeral home.
The Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, Minersville, has been placed in charge of arrangements.
