MILTON — Donald W. Yoder, 84, of Penn Street, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013, in Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born May 29, 1928, in Turbotville, a son of the late Nathaniel and Neta R. (Lindauer) Yoder. He was married to the former Arlene Reedy, who survives.
Donald was a 1946 graduate of Turbotville High School and served in the Marine Corps during World War II.
He had owned a service station in Turbotville for 30 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Larry Lackaye, of Henderson, Nev.; two stepdaughters, Christine Johnson, of Anniston, Ala., and Joni Powell, of Milton; four stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Raymond Cochran, of Turbotville.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jane Yoder, in 2011; one sister, Gladys R. Bower; and two brothers, Kenneth R. and Floyd N. Yoder.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Dale Hippensteel officiating.
Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery, Milton.
