WATSONTOWN — Richard E. Huff, 73, of Liberty Street died Friday, April 5, 2013, at the Select Specialty Hospital, Danville.
Born in Kelly Township, Union County, on Nov. 5, 1939, he was a son of the late Joseph I. and Dora A. (White) Huff.
Rich was a 1957 graduate of the Lewisburg High School.
He had worked for Jasper Wood Products in Watsontown.
He was a member of the United in Christ Lutheran Church in Lewisburg and the Loyal Order of Moose in Milton.
He enjoyed bowling and being Santa.
Surviving are by two daughters Becky Wynn, of Elimsport, and Joann Shellenberger, of Milton; his wife Charlotte Huff, of Milton; two granddaughters, Chelsi Hendricks and Kelli Eichenlaub; one great grandson; one brother, Ken Huff, of Watsontown; one sister, Toletha Yost, of Lewisburg; and his companion Alice Snyder, of West Milton.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Newton.
Friends and relatives will be received from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United in Christ Lutheran Church, 1875 Churches Road, Lewisburg. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 with the Rev. Leah Schade officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church Hill Cemetery, Lewisburg.
Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton.
