— NEW COLUMBIA — Patricia  A. “Pat” Snyder, 51, of 10577 River Road, passed away suddenly, Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at her home.

She was born Jan. 28, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York, a daughter of Bernard and Carole Bogus, of Mifflinburg and Carol (Mattis) and Eddie Gemberling, of North Carolina. On June 9, 2011, she married  Lloyd O. Snyder Jr., who survives. Together they celebrated two years of marriage.

Pat worked at various locations as a security guard and a cook.

She loved the outdoors, especially landscaping and gardening. Pat also enjoyed cooking and woodworking.

Surviving in addition to her husband, parents and stepparents, are one son and daughter-in-law, Bernard and Kelley Houdeshell, of Sunbury; two daughters and one son-in-law, DeShaunda Houdeshell, of Allentown and Danita and Stephen Dangler, of Herndon; two stepsons and one step daughter-in-law, Nate and Stacey Snyder, of Lewisburg and Chris Snyder, of New Columbia; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Karen Bogus, of Dover, Pa., Stanley and Pat Bogus, of New Columbia and Scott and Crystal Gemberling, of Mifflinburg; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Crystal Hesketh, of Lewistown, Bernadine and Doug Richards, of Middleburg and Stacy Bogus, of Mifflinburg; and five grandchildren, Paige and Korey Houdeshell, Justin Dangler, and Jaxon and Alexis Snyder.

She was predeceased by her step mother, Linda Bogus in 2009.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown, where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Larry Baney, pastor of Christ Community Church, Dornsife, officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.
