Ethel E. “Betsy” Dunlap, 68, Selinsgrove

SELINSGROVE — Ethel E. “Betsy” Dunlap, 68, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.

She was a daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Heckman) Donmoyer.

Betsy attended Northumberland High School with the Class of 1962.

She worked for many years at Weis Markets and retired in 2011.

Betsy enjoyed doing puzzle books and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Troy Dunlap, of Selinsgrove, and Christopher Dunlap, of Selinsgrove; two grandsons, Chad and Jared Dunlap; one brother, Chris Donmoyer, of Sunbury; one sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Barry Dooley, of Hawthorne, N.J.;  and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and David, and three sisters, Sally Marie Donmoyer, Sue Ann Erdman and Mary Lou English.

Betsy requested to be cremated, and the family will be gathering at 1 p.m. Monday in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, to celebrate Betsy’s life. There will be no viewing.
