SUNBURY — Robert L. Marks Sr., 64, of 349 Pennsylvania Ave., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born March 13, 1948, in Kelly Township, Union County, a son of the late Ralph N. and Katherine E. (Hauck) Marks. On July 18, 1969, in Jacksonville, N.C., he married the former Sandra L. Smith, who survives.

He enjoyed spending time in the summer with his Grandpap and Grandma Hauck and later with his Uncle Terry and Aunt Judy Troxell. His favorite hobbies were puzzles, cards, shooting pool, hunting, fishing, cookouts, collecting hats, bowling and, most of all, spending time with his family. His favorite teams were Penn State, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies.

Edmiston, of Columbus, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Elmer Marks, of Florida.

He was preceded in death by one brother, George Marks, in November, and maternal grandparents, Milton C. and Mary Ida (Koons) Hauck.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Olley-Gotlob Funeral Home, 539 Race St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor Darrin Hunt officiating.

Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington, with full military honors accorded by American Legion Post 201.
