STOUCHSBURG — Julie A. Habecker, 48, of Stouchsburg, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of Brian T. Habecker. They celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on June 6th.
Born in Reading on Sept. 7, 1965, she was a daughter of Leonard M. and Sharon R. (Kotulka Raub) of Womelsdorf. Julie, along with her husband, owned and operated Raub’s Twin Kiss in Myerstown and Raub’s Sub Shop at the Green Dragon and the Roots Markets.
She attended the Lebanon God’s Missionary Church.
She graduated from Penn View Christian Academy in 1983, the Lebanon County Career and Technology Nursing program in 1984 and Penn View Bible Institute in 1985.
Julie enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, being with her friends and especially being home spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her sons and two daughters-in-law, Jared K. and Amber Habecker, of Stouchsburg, Jerren B. and LeAnna Habecker, of Lebanon and Jaden A. Habecker, at home; her daughter Janelle B. Habecker, at home; one brother and sister-in-law, Greg L. and Jen Raub, of Myerstown; and one sister and brother-in-law, Audrey L. and the Rev. James Bender, of West Union, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by one brother Duane L. Raub and grandparents, Oscar and Pauline Raub and John and Eliza Kotulka.
Visitors may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Lebanon God’s Missionary Church, 2127 Hill St., Lebanon, followed by the funeral at 10.
Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Myerstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church at 2127 Hill St., Lebanon, PA 17046.
