WATSONTOWN — Grace E. Ferguson, 93, of Main Street, passed away Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 at her home.
Born Dec. 12, 1919, in York, she was a daughter of the late William L. and Bertha (Sypes) Raup. She married John N. (Cy) Ferguson Sr. and they had celebrated 33 years of marriage together until his death in 1976.
Grace worked at Montgomery Mills for more than 19 years.
She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandchildren and some days she would quilt for over 10 hours.
Surviving is one daughter, Barbara Ferguson; two sons and daughters-in-law, John Jr. and Beverly Ferguson, Bob and Dolores Ferguson, all of Watsontown; and several grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, was one son, William E. Ferguson along with two brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Broadway St., Watsontown, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Doug Schader officiating.
Burial will follow in the Turbotville Cemetery.
The family will provide flowers and suggests contributions in her memory be made to the SPCA at 2801 Bloom Rd. Danville, PA. 17821.
