LIVERPOOL — Cynthia G. “Cindy” Urich, 71, of Liverpool, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at her home. She was the widow of James W. Urich, who preceded her on June 12, 2011.
Cynthia was born Oct. 10, 1941, in Selinsgrove, the daughter of the late Eugene and Mary (Rine) Oldt.
She was a 1959 graduate of Greenwood Joint High School.
Cynthia was employed by Rine’s Flower Shop, Selinsgrove, until 1980. In 1982, she owned and operated Urich Flowers and Farm Market, Liverpool, until its closing. At the time of her passing, she was employed at the Selinsgrove Wal-Mart.
She enjoyed yard work, flowers and spending time with her family and friends. She was a people person.
Cynthia is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy S. and MaryEllen Urich, of Camp Hill, and Jamie E. and Denielle Urich, of Liverpool; four grandchildren, Monica Urich, a student at the University of West Virginia, Lexie Urich, of Liverpool, Shannon Urich, of Camp Hill, and Brennen Urich, of Liverpool; one brother and sister-in-law, George and Betty Rine, of Selinsgrove; one sister-in-law, Mary Reichner, of Liverpool; her mother and father-in-law, Jim and Mae Urich, of Liverpool; and her beloved dog, Duke.
There will be no viewing. Services and burial will be at the discretion of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association Capital Region Division, 1019 Mumma Road, Lemoyne, PA 17043, or to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., No. 103, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
The George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
