MONTANDON — Lois V. Grant, 80, of Housel’s Run Road, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born Aug. 22, 1932, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Claud H. and Lillian V. (Hopper) Wetzel. She was married on March 23, 1956, to William D. Grant, who survives.
Lois was a 1950 graduate of Sunbury High School.
She was employed by GAC Finance, Sunbury, as a bookkeeper for the Turbot Hills Country Club, Milton, and as a secretary at the Montandon Elementary School for 20 years until her retirement.
She was an active and faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sunbury, from birth until 1975 and then at Montandon United Methodist Church from 1975 until her death. She was a member of the choir of both churches.
Lois enjoyed playing the piano and loved to spend time with her grandson.
She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Lorei and Robert M. Comerer Jr. and Lisa J. Grant, all of Montandon, and one grandson, Robert G. Comerer.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
