MILLMONT — Leonard Wayne Long, 53, of 18420 Old Turnpike Road for 21 years, entered into rest at 10:40 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at his home.
He was born March 8, 1960, in Lewisburg, a son of Dolores F. (Keefer) Long, of Mifflinburg, and the late Leroy F. Long. On Feb. 11, 1993, in Mifflinburg, he married the former Debra A. Walter, who survives.
Leonard was a 1978 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.
He was employed for 32 years at Playworld Systems, Lewisburg.
Leonard enjoyed hunting, fishing, working outdoors, watching NASCAR and football and attending Mifflinburg Area High School football games. He also enjoyed caring for his cats, Little Kate, Jasper and Kendall, and spending time with his family.
Surviving, in addition to his mother and wife, are one son, Zachary W. Long, of Millmont; one daughter, Katelyn D. Long, of Millmont; one stepdaughter, Brittany L. Malone, of Waymart; and one brother and sister-in-law, Rich and Ricki Long, of Millmont.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Roupp Funeral Home Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 with the Rev. Ricky Phillips officiating.
Burial will be in Hartleton Cemetery.
