SELINSGROVE — Wesley A. “Wes” Murray, 14, of Selinsgrove, entered into eternal rest on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Aug. 14, 1999, in Harrisburg, a son of Cindy Lee (Dobyns) and Donald W. Murray Jr., of Selinsgrove.
Wes had completed his seventh-grade studies at the Selinsgrove Area Middle School.
He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Selinsgrove.
A real sports fan, Wesley loved professional wrestling, football and basketball viewing on television. He was gifted in art.
In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by two brothers, Derek W. Murray, of Elliotsburg, and Christopher Landis and his wife, Cynthia, of Lock Haven; two sisters, Heather M. Murray, of Millerstown, and Faith A. Murray, at home; paternal grandmother, Gladys Murray, of Liverpool; aunts and uncles, Peggy Urich and husband Thomas, of Selinsgrove, Maureen Gleason and Joseph, of Atlanta, Ga., and William R. Murray and his companion, Lisa, of Ohio; several cousins; and his pet rabbit, Pipi.
Wesley was preceded by his paternal grandfather, Donald E. Murray Sr.; maternal grandparents, Jack L. and Viola L. Dobyns; and his uncle, Raymond G. Urich Jr.
Friends and family are invited to the viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor Robert L. Rines officiating.
Burial will be in Liverpool Union Cemetery, Liverpool.
