SELINSGROVE — Edward A. Glancy, 75, of 6533 Park Road, passed away, Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Dec. 17, 1937, in Linesville, a son of the late Edward and Adra (Wilson) Glancy. On Sept. 28, 1979, he married the former Donna M. Mitch, who survives. Together they celebrated 33 years of marriage.
Ed was a 1955 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School. He retired from Kuhns Brothers Log Homes, Lewisburg.
He was of Wesleyan Methodist faith.
Ed was a member of the Williamsport Scottish Rite and a member and past master of Lodge 632, Sunbury and a member and past secretary of Lodge 22, Sunbury.
He enjoyed camping and traveling and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Robert Glancy, of Germany, Lonnie Bailey, of Selinsgrove, and Brian Glancy, of Sunbury; one daughter, Wendy Bailey-Mowery and her husband Scott, of Winfield; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Connie Glancy, of Geneva; one sister, Helen M. Woods, of Geneva; one sister-in-law, Eileen Glancy, of Geneva; and six grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Chelsea, Trista, Tyler and Ryan.
Ed was predeceased by two daughters, Cynthia and Jeanne Glancy; one brother, Blaine Glancy; and in-laws, Ernest and Shirley Mitch.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg, where a Masonic service will be held at 5:45 p.m. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
