MIDDLEBURG — Barry J. Blair, 59, of East Main Street, passed away at 7:12 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Jan. 4, 1954, in Altoona, a son of Shirley J. (Reifsnyder) Blair, of Williamsburg.
Barry attended Altoona High School.
He served in the Navy during the Viet Nam War.
Barry had operated the Port Trevorton Mobil Station for a number of years, as well as being a truck driver and mechanic.
He was currently employed at the Snyder County Times, Middleburg.
He was a member of the Middleburg and Mifflinburg V.F.W. Posts; the Selinsgrove American Legion; the Loyal Order of the Moose, Selinsgrove; the Hummels Wharf Fire Company; the 40 et 8, Milton; the Susquehanna Motocycle Club; and ABATE.
Barry was a very social person and an avid motorcycle enthusiast; he especially enjoyed his Harley Davidson.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are one daughter and son-in-law, Tina L. and Christopher Yoder, of Middleburg; one son, Justin M. Blair, of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Trent Blair and his wife Brittany, Brent Blair and Jaylynn Blair; one greatgrandson, Jayson Michael Blair; and one sister and brother-in-law, Christine and George Angus, of Duncansville; and his companion Susan Weaver, of Middleburg.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jason M. Blair on July 9, 2009.
Visitors may call from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Monday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, where the funeral will be at 1.
Burial with military honors by the Middle West Veterans, will be in the Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
