DANVILLE — Wanda Jean (Yost) Chappell, 75, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at her son’s residence.
She was the daughter of the late Carl and Madeline (Bennett) Yost and loving wife of the late Dennis Chappell Sr. for 43 years.
Wanda worked as a custodian at the Petro All American Truck Stop. Mrs. Chappell had a love for line dancing and photography.
She is survived by two sons, David Chappell and his wife Janet, and Keith Chappell and his wife Kimberly, all of Danville; one daughter, Stacey Crowley, of Danville; 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Sally Fry, of Bloomsburg.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Chappell Jr.; two daughters, Sharon Hartman and Joyce Gouty; one granddaughter, Kelsea Guyer; and one sister, Sonya Eisenhower.
A time of visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday, followed by the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. with Brian Anderson officiating, at the Brady Funeral Home, 320 Church St., Danville.
A graveside service follows in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
The family will provide flowers.
