LEWISBURG — Carrie Snyder, 72, of 133 JPM Road, entered into rest at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 18, 1941, in Millersburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Miller) Wiles. In 1988 at the Forest Hill United Methodist Church she married Robert Lyman (Snyder), who passed away on Feb. 11, 2001.
Carrie worked at the Selinsgrove Center.
She was a former member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church.
Carrie enjoyed following Jeff Burton in NASCAR, her favorite color was yellow, she liked cows, watching TV, loved her grandchildren, visiting with friends and playing games.
Surviving are three daughters, Roberta L. Buck and companion Eusebio Rincon Mota, of Bloomsburg, Rebecca L. Weller, of Millmont, and Robin Lea Rantz and husband Rian, of Millmont; six grandchildren, Brittany Dressler, Matthew Dressler, Karla L. Weller, Joseph A. Weller, Isayah W.L. Snyder, and Caleigh Eva Mae Rantz; five great-grandchildren, McKenzie P. Kraley, Hunter F. Dressler, Nikko Dressler, Carolyn L. Pereira, and Jason L. Pereira; four sisters, Esther Morrison, of Ohio, Rachel Fisher, of Richfield, Martha Schlabach, of Ohio, and Mary Wiles, of Lewisburg; and two brothers, Paul Wiles, of Watsontown, and Simon Wiles, of Ohio. Also surviving is her special caregiver Brenda Bitner.
She was preceded in death by a son in infancy and one brother, Daniel Wiles.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Dominick T. Adamo Funeral Home, 247 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at the First Church of the Nazarene, 12 E. Market St., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Wayne S. Krell officiating.
Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
