SELINSGROVE — Carole J. Dusick, 78, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Jan. 7, 1935, in Wellesley, Mass., a daughter of the late Lee and Myrtle Dickie.
Carole was a graduate of Wellesley High School and Mount Ida College.
She was last employed at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club and retired when she was 70 years old.
Carole enjoyed playing golf, traveling and going out to eat with family and friends.
Carole had four children, eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Joan Marie Dusick, of Coal Township, and children, Erin Poremba and husband, Trevor, and Kristen Dusick; three daughters and their families, Cynthia Urick and husband, Steve, and their children, Matthew Urick and wife, Kelly and their daughter, Emily Urick, James Urick, Joseph Urick, Sarah Urick and Racheal Urick, of Birdsboro; Deborah Heitzman, and husband Edward, of Elysburg; and Diane Riesselman and her son, John Riesselman, of San Francisco, Calif.
She was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Dusick; one brother, Robert Dickie; and one sister, Eva Nason.
A small memorial service for family and close friends will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Leonard J. Lucas Funeral Home, Ltd., 120 S. Market St., Shamokin.
