SUNBURY — Dorothy F. Johnson, 85, of Sunbury, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the Golden Living Center/Mansion, Sunbury.
She was born in Northumberland on July 17, 1927, a daughter of the late Aaron L. and Clara Margaret (Lyons) McCreary.
She retired from the Wil-Hold Factory in Sunbury and was a member of the Christ Community United Methodist Church, Selinsgrove.
Her husband George E. Johnson, who served in the Army during WW II, preceded her in death Aug. 1, 1996.
Surviving are her sisters and brother, Doris Gonzalus, of Shamokin, Emma Crone, of York, June Byerly, of Vienna, Va., Myrtle Bennett, of Bloomsburg, Anna M. Wilson, of Hummels Wharf; and Aaron H. McCreary, of Sunbury; nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were three sisters, Jean Trostle, Margaret Hupp, and Ruth Clark.
A private graveside memorial service will be held at the convenience of her family with the Rev. Randall G. Bennet, her pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury.
