DANVILLE — Robert L. Foust, 84, of 301 Kingsley Ave., was welcomed into Glory and into the arms of his loving Savior on Tuesday evening, March 18, 2014, surrounded by his family.
He was born June 23, 1929, in Montgomery, a son of the late William and Ruth (Hornberger) Foust. On Feb. 14, 1949, he married the former Florence Oberdorf who survives.
Robert graduated from Danville High School in 1947 and served his country during the Korean War in the Army.
He was employed by Hawkin’s Chevrolet, Danville as their business manager for 35 years, retiring in 1993.
Robert was a member of First Baptist Church, Danville.
He enjoyed traveling but his greatest enjoyment in life was spending quality time with the family that he adored.
In addition to his wife of 65 years, Florence, he is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Ronald Neitz, of Northumberland, Beth Dewalt and Shawn Kroh, of Danville and Karen and Shawn Coleman, all of Danville; six grandchildren, Jayme Neumyer, Jessica, Terry and Lauren Dewalt, Nathan Coleman and Phillip Kroh; and four great-grandchildren, Adelyn, Niko, Brynnlee and Remy; and one sister, Sharon Clemens, of Williamsport.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Elsie Sudo in 1985.
Friends and relatives will be received from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Friday in the Visneski Funeral Home, Inc., 10 W. Mahoning St., Danville, followed by a memorial service at 1 with his pastor, the Rev. Dr. Harry H. Wonderland officiating.
Burial will be private.
