SELINSGROVE — Sherry L. Beaver, 63, of Eighth Street, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Sherry was born July 22, 1950, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Grant E. and Bernice (Rowe) Klinger, of Selinsgrove. On Jan. 23, 1992, she married Wayne E. Beaver who preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 2012.
She was a 1968 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
Sherry was employed bythe Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of Labor & Industry as a department supervisor and retired in 2011 after many years of service. She was also a van driver for Sharitz Bus Service. Following retirement Sherry worked the breakfast bar at the Hampton Inn.
She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1173, Selinsgrove.
Sherry enjoyed shopping and never missed a Chinese auction. She also enjoyed traveling and taking bus trips. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Sherry is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Joe and Jennifer Isenberg, of Shamokin Dam, and Chris Beaver, of Middleburg; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Tracy and Cary Johnson, of Duncannon, Karen Isenberg and husband, Rick Waiwada, of Shamokin Dam, Jennifer R. Beaver and companion, Tony, of Mifflinburg, Heather Fogarty and companion, Chad, of Selinsgrove; her grandchildren, Tori, Freddy, Dylan, Megan, Robyn, Isaac, Colby, Cameron, Dakota, Scot, Sierra, Timmy, Tora, Cody and Drake; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Keith and Deb Klinger, of Duncannon, Dennis and Cathy Klinger, of Sunbury, Terry Klinger, of Selinsgrove, and Paul and Shelley Klinger, of Sunbury; and two sisters, Carol McCreary, of Hummel’s Wharf and Tina Mull, of Selinsgrove.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Beaver.
Friends and family may visit from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, where a memorial service will follow at noon.
