WEST MILTON — Martha L. White, 78, of High Street, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Milton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 29, 1935, in Muncy, a daughter of the late Elwood and Alice (Frontz) Yeagle. She was married to Roger White, and her death breaks a marital union of 49 years.
Martha was a 1953 graduate of Watsontown High School.
She retired in 2006 from Weis Markets, Lewisburg.
She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, West Milton.
Martha enjoyed gardening and tending her flowers in the summer. She also enjoyed going on bus trips.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Connie Corson, of Milton; one daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Steven Everitt, of Mifflinburg; one granddaughter, Danielle Ard, of Mifflinburg; and one sister, Margaret Truckenmiller, of Watsontown.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Horace and Edward Yeagle.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, followed by the funeral at 11 with Pastor Gary Nottis officiating.
Burial will be in Uniontown Cemetery, Allenwood.
