LEWISBURG — Peter J. Talmadge, 45, of Lewisburg, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born in South Amboy, N.J., and lived in Cliffwood Beach, N.J., most of his life before moving to Lewisburg.
Peter was an independent contractor.
Peter was an avid fisherman and hunter. His best days were spent with a rod and reel pulling in the perfect trout. He had just celebrated the birth of his grandson, Elijah Talmadge.
He is survived by his three loving daughters, Amy Talmadge, of Melbourne, Fla., Ashley Talmadge and Alexis Talmadge, both of Lewisburg; one grandson, Elijah Talmadge, of Melbourne; his father and stepmother, Fred Sr. and Debra Talmadge, of Cliffwood Beach; one sister, Erin Robles, of Hamilton; and one niece, Angelina Robles, of Hamilton.
Peter was preceded in death by his mother, Lynda Talmadge, and his brother, Fred G. Talmadge Jr.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, N.J., with a 7:30 p.m. funeral service.
Cremation will be private.
