MIDDLEBURG — Goldie (Haines) Ruloff, 95, formerly of Daddario Hill Road, joined her husband, Robert, and son, Robert Jr., in eternal life on Friday, June 21, 2013, at the home of her daughter in Mission, Texas.
She was born May 21, 1918, in Beaver Springs, a daughter of the late George Paul Haines and Arie Annie-Alice Bickel. She was the second of 16 children and loved each of her brothers and sisters dearly.
Goldie was a resident of rural Middleburg for more than 60 years. She played the organ and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Middleburg, for many years.
Goldie enjoyed sewing, quilting and visiting with others at the Penns Creek Senior Center.
All who knew her will miss her smiles and grace.
Goldie was a devoted mother and is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Ulf Lundin, of Middleburg, and Karen and William Eck, of Mission. Goldie dearly loved her eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 2 with Pastor Bob Klingerman officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Union Cemetery, Middleburg.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 504 Winey Ave., Middleburg, PA 17842.
